Key differences

What sets them apart

The details that matter when choosing between the two.

Where the price starts

Credit where it is due: Bizzabo is one of the few enterprise event platforms that publishes a number. It is $499 per user per month, billed annually, with three seats as the minimum, which Bizzabo states as $17,999 a year before a single add-on. Vendr puts the median actual contract at $30,035 (Feb 2026), in a range of $12,000 to $59,154. There is no free plan, no self-serve trial and no per-event price. GuestlistOnline is free for one event with 50 guests, €19.99 for a single event of any size, and €29 a month or €249 a year for unlimited events, bought with a card.

Where Bizzabo wins: the conference floor

Klik SmartBadge NFC wearables that let attendees tap to swap details and sponsors capture leads have no equivalent here, and neither do the attendee app with 1:1 meetings and AI matchmaking, session registration with capacity and waitlists, sponsor and speaker portals, virtual and hybrid streaming, Bizzabox rental hardware, or Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo and Pardot attribution back to the pipeline. GuestlistOnline offers none of it: no attendee app, no networking, no streaming, no badge printing and no CRM sync. Several of those are Bizzabo add-ons on top of the $17,999, but they exist, and here they do not.

Where GuestlistOnline wins: EU hosting and languages

Bizzabo hosts on AWS and GCP in the continental US and publishes no EU data residency option, so EU personal data travels on standard contractual clauses — a conversation worth having before the DPA is signed. Its dashboard, check-in app and support are English only; the 500+ languages it advertises are a translation widget on the event site. GuestlistOnline hosts in the EU and runs in 7 languages across the dashboard, the emails and the registration pages. Bizzabo does hold SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and PCI SAQ D, and we hold none of those.

Where GuestlistOnline wins: promoters, per-event pricing and self-serve

Bizzabo is annual, per seat and demo-gated: you cannot buy it for one conference, and three seats is the floor whether you need them or not. Ticket Boost tracks referrals and promo codes, but no promoter commissions or per-promoter payouts are published. GuestlistOnline sells a single event for €19.99, takes a card in the dashboard, sells paid tickets at 5% + €0.25 each with payment processing included and no fees on free events through your own Stripe Connect account, and gives each promoter a link, counts who actually arrived through it and works out the commission.

Fair is fair

When Bizzabo is the better choice

B2B marketing teams with three or more organisers running a portfolio of conferences are the audience Bizzabo prices for.

  • Klik smart badges for networking and lead capture
  • CRM attribution back to Salesforce, HubSpot or Marketo
  • An attendee app with AI matchmaking and session-level registration
  • A dedicated onsite team and rental hardware for events under 1,000
Migration

Switching from Bizzabo

Bizzabo exports contacts, registrations and reports to Excel and CSV, and the REST API is available where you have licensed it. Pull the registration file, then import it into GuestlistOnline and map the columns you want to keep. Some reviewers report gaps in what the standard exports contain, so check the file against the dashboard before you cancel anything — and remember the contract is annual.

What carries over

  • Contact and registrant names, email addresses and company fields
  • Ticket type and the custom field answers you map on import
  • Check-in status, as the exported record of who arrived

What doesn't

  • Klik SmartBadge profiles, networking matches and 1:1 meeting histories
  • Session agendas, sponsor and speaker portals and virtual event recordings
  • The Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo or Pardot syncs, and any white-labelled attendee app
