Welcome to GuestlistOnline. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GuestlistOnline platform and services. By using our service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

1. Description of Service

GuestlistOnline is an event management and ticketing platform that allows:

• Event Organizers: To create events, manage guest lists, and sell tickets
• Guests: To register for events and purchase tickets

2. Account Registration

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services.

Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

3. Event Organizer Terms

Fees and Pricing

Payment Processing

• Payments are processed through Stripe Connect
• You must connect a valid Stripe account to sell tickets
• Funds are transferred directly to your connected bank account
• Platform fees are automatically deducted from each transaction

Refund Policy

• You are solely responsible for handling refunds to ticket buyers
• GuestlistOnline does not process refunds on your behalf
• Your refund policy must comply with local consumer protection laws

4. Ticket Buyer Terms

Purchases

• All ticket purchases are final
• Tickets are non-transferable unless allowed by the event organizer
• Reselling tickets is prohibited

Refunds

• Refund requests must be directed to the event organizer
• GuestlistOnline is a platform and does not process refunds
• In case of event cancellation, the organizer is responsible for refunds

Event Entry

• You must present a valid QR code for entry
• The event organizer reserves the right to refuse entry
• Check event details before attending; they may be subject to change

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for illegal purposes
• Create fraudulent events or listings
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Upload malware or malicious content
• Scrape or data mine our platform
• Circumvent any security features
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

6. Intellectual Property

The GuestlistOnline platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you upload (event descriptions, images, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with our service.

7. Limitation of Liability

Platform Role

GuestlistOnline acts solely as a platform connecting event organizers and guests. We are NOT:

• The seller of tickets
• Responsible for event quality, safety, or cancellation
• Liable for disputes between organizers and guests

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting go@guestlistonline.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

9. Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands
• Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
