Events

Create, edit, duplicate and close events.

How do I edit my event after creating it?

Open the event and click Edit on the overview. Name, date, times, location, description and flyer are on the first tab; pricing, registration options and approval are on the other tabs. Changes take effect immediately on guest pages and in emails sent from then on.

How do I hide the end time or other details of my event?

In Edit Event, set End Time to "No end time" and the time strip shows only the start. The location can be left empty. On the RSVP page you can additionally hide the "What to expect" list, the QR ticket tip and the footer; in emails you can hide the event description per template.

What is the difference between a public and a private event?

A public event has a registration link anyone can use to sign up. A private event has no public link: only guests you add yourself, or import, can RSVP through their personal link. Switch between the two under Edit Event with the registration setting; approval lets you keep a public link while still deciding who gets in.

What happens to my paid upgrade if I delete the event?

Deleting an event deletes its guests, emails and settings for good. The payment record survives, but the upgrade is tied to that event and is not moved automatically. Ask us in the chat before deleting and we move the upgrade to another event; if you already deleted it, tell us the event and we restore it there.

How do free and paid (ticketed) events differ?

Every event is free or paid, set under Edit Event, Pricing. Free events skip payment: a confirmed guest gets a QR ticket at once. Paid events sell tickets through your own Stripe account, with an optional early bird price and artist price; the QR ticket is issued after payment. The platform fee on paid tickets is 0.25 euro plus 5 percent per ticket, payment processing included.

How do time zones and languages work for my event and my guests?

The event has one time zone, set under Edit Event, so calendar files and reminders fire at the right local time. Guest pages and emails come in the guest's own language: each guest has a language, guessed from their browser or set by you, out of English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. You edit texts per language.

How do I duplicate an event for a recurring night?

On the event overview, open the three-dot menu and choose Duplicate Event. The copy gets the same settings, pricing, custom questions, email templates and RSVP branding, with "(Copy)" after the name. Guests are not copied. Rename it, set the new date and, if you want the same people, export the guest list from the old event and import it into the new one.
