How do team roles and permissions work?
Invite people per event under Team with a role: Co-Organizer, Coordinator, Door Manager, Door Staff, Promoter, Artist or Sponsor. Each role has a set of permissions (manage guests, send invitations, edit event, view analytics, manage team, scan) that you can adjust per person. The owner can change roles and permissions or remove members at any time; removed members lose access immediately.
How do promoter links, commission and approval work?
Invite a promoter under Team with the role Promoter. They get a personal registration link (your event link with their code) to share; guests who register through it are tagged with the promoter and counted on the Promoters page. Set a commission per ticket sold, per check-in or a percentage of sales, and choose whether their guests are approved automatically or need your approval.
How do artist and sponsor allocations work?
Invite an artist or sponsor under Team and give them a quota: a number of free spots and a number of discounted spots with their own price. They sign in, see their remaining quota and add their guests themselves; those guests receive QR tickets like everyone else and are tagged with the artist's name. You keep the overview and the door sees the tag.
How do I get an API key and make my first request?
As workspace owner on Pro or Enterprise, open Organization settings, API & webhooks, and click Create key. Choose a name and the scopes (read, write, check-in), copy the key once, and store it on your server. Then call GET https://www.guestlistonline.com/api/v1/me with the header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY" to confirm it works. Full reference at guestlistonline.com/docs.
