How do I hide the end time or other details of my event?
Short answer
In Edit Event, set End Time to "No end time" and the time strip shows only the start. The location can be left empty. On the RSVP page you can additionally hide the "What to expect" list, the QR ticket tip and the footer; in emails you can hide the event description per template.
Time and place
- Open your event and click Edit.
- Under End Time, pick No end time. Emails and guest pages then show "19:00" instead of "19:00 to 01:00". Multi-day events keep their end date.
- Leave Location empty if you announce it later; the location line disappears from pages and emails. Fill it in when ready and the calendar file updates too.
On the RSVP and registration pages
In the RSVP editor, the panel on the right has switches for the "You're invited" badge, the event title on the photo, the QR code and its tip, the "What to expect" list and the GuestlistOnline footer (paid events).
In emails
- Hide the event description per template with the "Show event description" switch.
- Replace the header text and banner per template under "Email Subject & Header Text".
- The date and location strip is part of every event email and cannot be hidden yet.
Questions about this
- The end time field will not clear.
- Choose the option No end time at the top of the End Time dropdown; typing nothing does not clear it. The change saves with the event.
- Can I hide the date?
- No. Every event has a date and it is shown on guest pages, in emails and in the calendar file, because guests need it.
- Can I hide the description on the RSVP page?
- Leave the description empty in Edit Event, or write a short one. The description block disappears when the field is empty.
