Does GuestlistOnline hold my money?

No. Payments go directly to your Stripe account. Our fee of 0.25 euro plus 5 percent per ticket is deducted per payment as an application fee.

Can I use PayPal or Mollie instead?

No. Stripe is the only payment provider. It supports cards, iDEAL and Link in all supported currencies.

Can a team member connect Stripe?

Only the workspace owner or an admin can connect and disconnect Stripe.

How do I connect Stripe to sell tickets?

Short answer

Go to Admin Settings, Payments and click Connect with Stripe. You sign in to an existing Stripe account or create one in a few minutes; Stripe verifies your business and bank details. Once connected, switch any event to paid and ticket money goes straight to your Stripe account, never through ours. Connect at the workspace level so every event in it can use it.

Connect

Open Admin Settings from the account menu and go to Payments.
Click Connect with Stripe. You are sent to Stripe.
Sign in to your Stripe account, or create one: business type, address, bank account, an ID for the owner. Stripe may ask for extra documents for some business types.
You return to GuestlistOnline with Stripe shown as connected. From now on the Pricing tab on each event can be switched to paid.

Workspace, not personal

Connect Stripe on the workspace (organization) whose events sell tickets. A connection on your personal account does not cover events in a shared workspace, and guests would see "payment processing not set up". If you use several workspaces, connect each one.

What guests can pay with

Cards, iDEAL for Dutch guests and Link. Stripe may add local methods such as Bancontact depending on your Stripe settings and the currency.

Payouts, refunds, disputes

Payouts follow your Stripe schedule, usually daily or weekly, to the bank account in Stripe.
Refunds are made in your Stripe dashboard. Mark the guest as not attending afterwards.
Chargebacks are handled by Stripe with you; we provide the registration data if you need it.

Disconnect

Disconnect under Admin Settings, Payments. Paid events keep their records, but new payments stop working until you connect again.
