How do I ask guests extra questions like dietary needs or company?

Add a question

1. Open your event and go to RSVP page, then click Manage questions in the panel on the right (also available under Edit Event).
2. Choose the type: text (free answer), single choice (one option from a list) or multiple choice (several options).
3. Type the question, add the options for choice questions, and mark it required if guests must answer.
4. Save. The question is live on the registration page immediately.

Where questions appear

• Registration page: always.
• RSVP page (personal links): only when you turn on asking custom questions on RSVP in the editor. Then every companion with a name gets their own copy of the questions, for example one meal choice per person.

Show a question only after a specific answer

A question can depend on a choice question: tick "Only show after a specific answer" and pick the option. For example, "Which allergy?" appears only when "Dietary needs" is answered with "Allergy". Conditions are one level deep: a dependent question cannot itself have dependents.

Working with the answers

• Open a guest to see their answers, or export the list: each question is a column.
• Companion answers are stored on the companion's own row.
• Changing a question's text later keeps existing answers; deleting a question removes its answers from view.
