How do I export my guest list to Excel?
Short answer
On the Guests page, set the filters you want (for example Confirmed only), then use Export and choose CSV. The file opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets and contains one row per guest including companions, with status, tags, check-in and custom answers. QR codes can be exported as a ZIP of images.
Steps
- Open your event and go to Guests.
- Filter the list first if you only need part of it: the status chips (Confirmed, Pending, Not attending), a tag, or a search term. The export follows the current filter.
- Click Export and choose Export CSV. The download starts immediately.
- Open the file in Excel. If accents look wrong, use Data, From Text/CSV in Excel and pick UTF-8, or open it in Google Sheets, which reads it correctly.
What the export contains
- Name, email, phone, language, tags and notes.
- RSVP status, when the guest answered, invitation status and check-in time.
- Companions as their own rows, linked to the main guest, so head counts add up.
- Answers to your custom questions, one column per question.
- For paid events: ticket type, amount paid and payment status.
Other exports
- Download QR codes (ZIP): one image per guest, named after the guest, for printing badges or wristbands.
- Check-in and analytics: attendance and check-in timeline exports live on the Analytics page.
- Promoter settlement: per-promoter results on the Promoters page.
Questions about this
- Can I export only the attending guests?
- Yes. Click the Confirmed chip above the list first, then Export. The file contains exactly what the list shows.
- Is there an Excel (.xlsx) export?
- The export is CSV, which Excel opens directly. For a formatted workbook, open the CSV in Excel and save it as .xlsx.
- Can door staff export the list?
- No. Exports need the organizer, co-organizer or coordinator role. Door staff work in the scanner app.
