Short answer

Use the public registration link instead of personal invitations. Share it by WhatsApp, on social media or in a newsletter; guests enter their own name and email, and they land on your guest list with a QR ticket. Turn on approval if you want to review who registers before they get a ticket.

Two ways to invite

Personal RSVP links are created per guest and sent by email from the guest list. They need an address you already have.
The public registration link is one link for everyone. Guests fill in their details themselves, so it works when you only have phone numbers, a group chat or a poster.

Steps

Open your event and make sure registration is on (the event overview shows RSVP open). Adjust the guest limit under the event settings if you want a hard cap.
Click Share registration link on the Guests page, or Share RSVP link on the overview, and copy the link or the QR code.
Post the link where your guests are: WhatsApp, Instagram bio, a newsletter, a printed QR on the invitation card.
Each registration creates a guest with their email. The QR ticket is emailed to them at once, or after you approve them when approval is on.

Keep control

Approval: enable "Require manual approval for registrations" in Edit Event. Registrations wait as Pending until you approve or reject them on the Guests page.
Questions: add custom questions to the registration form (company, dietary needs, how did you hear about us).
Texts: change the form title, subtitle, button and confirmation texts in the RSVP editor, Registration tab.
Companions: allow guests to add companions with names and, if you want, their emails, so each gets a ticket.
