How do I track promoter performance and settle commissions?
Short answer
The Promoters page in your event lists every promoter with signups, check-ins, conversion, revenue, commission earned and pending payout. Totals sit at the top. After the event, Export Settlement gives you a sheet to pay from, and Mark as Paid closes the balance. Promoters see their own numbers only.
The numbers
- Signups: guests who registered through the promoter's link or were added by them.
- Check-ins and conversion: how many of those actually showed up. The most honest measure of a promoter.
- Revenue: ticket sales from their guests on paid events.
- Earned and pending: commission under the rule you set, and what you have not marked as paid yet.
During the campaign
- Sort by signups to see who is working the link, and by conversion to see who brings real guests.
- Adjust a commission rule if needed; it applies to new sales and check-ins from then on.
- Switch a promoter to manual approval if their guests need a check.
Settlement
- After the event, wait for the last offline scans to sync.
- Click Export Settlement for a sheet with one line per promoter and the guests behind it.
- Pay the promoters your way (bank transfer, cash, or a deduction from the door split).
- Click Mark as Paid per promoter. Pending drops to zero and the record stays for the next event.
What promoters see
Their own link and code, their guests, signups, check-ins and earned commission. Not other promoters, not the full guest list, not your revenue.
Questions about this
- Does commission per check-in count companions?
- Each checked-in person counts, including companions, when the rule is per check-in.
- Can I pay promoters through the platform?
- No. Payouts are between you and the promoter; the page tracks what is owed and what you marked as paid.
- Can a promoter work several events?
- Yes. Invite them per event; their stats are per event and their account is the same.
