Will a guest receive the same reminder twice?

No. Each automation sends once per guest, and Send now skips guests who already received it in the same run.

Which emails go out automatically, and how do reminders work?

Short answer

Two kinds. Guest emails go out instantly when a guest registers, confirms, pays or is approved: registration received, QR ticket, approval. Scheduled automations you switch on yourself under Emails: an RSVP reminder to guests who have not answered, an event reminder to attending guests a set number of days before, and a thank-you after the event. Each has an editable template, a schedule and a Send now button.

Instant guest emails

A guest registers through the public page: Registration received, or the QR ticket straight away when no approval or payment is needed.
A guest confirms on the RSVP page: the QR ticket, if Send this email automatically is on.
A paid ticket succeeds: the QR ticket with the payment confirmation.
You approve or reject a registration: the Approved or Not approved email.

Scheduled automations

RSVP reminder: to guests who are still Pending, a chosen number of days before the event. Guests who answer stop receiving it.
Event reminder: to everyone attending, for example 1 day before at 10:00, with the calendar file and the QR code again.
Thank you: to guests who were checked in, or to all attending guests, a chosen number of days after.

Set one up

Open Emails and find the automation card.
Click Edit, change the text, set the days and hour. Times follow the event's time zone.
Switch it to Active. The card shows the next send date. Use Send me a test first.
Need it now? Send now sends to the matching guests immediately and shows how many.

Payment reminders

There is no separate payment reminder. On paid events, guests who registered but did not complete payment are Unpaid; filter on Unpaid, select all and resend the payment email from the row menu or in bulk.
